Theatre Connect's Teen Troupe offers a vibrant and inclusive community for LGBTQIA+ teens and their allies, ages 12 to 17. We provide a safe space for teens to express themselves freely without fear or judgment by teaming up theatre professionals with mental health professionals.

Improvisation
At Theatre Connect, we lean into the “three rules of improv” to stay in the moment, lift each other up, and say “yes, and!” Sparking creativity, building connections, and having fun.
Storytelling
Our partners at the Hippodrome Theatre and the local theatre community work with us on-stage and behind the scenes to help our teens tell their stories.
Holistic Support
The Gainesville Community Counseling Center, provides LGBTQIA+ mental health support through affirming stage counselors.

Creative activities offer joy, growth, and connection at any stage in life. Our Teen, Young Adult, and Community Troupes help build social skills, adaptability, and resilience.
