1st Annual Gala for Queer Youth Mental and Social Health.

Hold on to your Halloween costumes, we’re throwing a cosplay party! Our queer youth theatre company and gala attendees will arrive dressed as their favorite pop-culture icons or fictional characters. We’ll enjoy food, games, performances, and special guests you won’t want to miss. A silent auction, photo booth, and costume contest will occur throughout the night. Reserve a free ticket and make an optional donation before we run out of seats!

Improvisation

By following the “three rules of improvisation” we get to practice building each other up, staying in the moment, and saying “yes, and!”

Storytelling

Our partners at the Hippodrome Theatre and Flow Space work with us on-stage and behind the scenes to help our teens tell their stories.

Holistic Support

The Gainesville Community Counseling Center, provides LGBTQIA+ mental health support through affirming stage counselors.

Performance Alchemy

An immersive performance art experience on coming out.

Directed by Ileigh Reynolds, director of Flow Space, this show featured our brave queer youth in an engaging and moving (literally) experience. Thank you for helping us raise over $1000 to help cover the cost of next year’s program! Your support helps LGBTQIA+ youth in North Central Florida have a safe place to create, connect, and celebrate through the power of theatre.
