WHAT IS TEEN TROUPE?
Creativity
At Theatre Connect, we teach all our students the rules of improv around a framework of “yes, and!” We also help them produce original stories and classic tales with themes that matter to them!
Connection
We bring in local LGBTQIA-identifying and affirming mental health professionals as stage counselors to ensure a caring environment. As an ensemble, we foster connection and friendship.
Celebration
Our partners at Heartwood Soundstage, Curia on the Drag, the Hippodrome Theatre, and the local theatre community celebrate our teens’ talents by hosting our events and performances!
Grow your creative confidence
Creative activities offer joy, growth, and connection at any stage in life. Our Teen, Young Adult, and Community Troupes help build social skills, adaptability, and resilience.
Build your creative community
Our inclusive program provides a supportive space for the entire queer community, fostering collaboration and friendships that flourish through authenticity and expression.
